Standard EV Charger Install

My go to EV charger is the Hypervolt Home 3 Pro (see library image). For bespoke installs see the cases below.

Upgrading EV / Car Chargers

I normally install “Hypervolt Home 3 Pro” chargers, but the charger photographed here required a more bespoke installation because it was supplied by a client who took it with them when they moved house. In order to upgrade it and take advantage of recent advances in safety technology I installed it alongside the Matt:e PEN fault protection device, which is installed adjacent to the electric meter. The Mattt:e device also includes current limiting so it means any charger can be installed with a notification to the DNO (not a request).

Discrete installation

In this installation the client supplied the charger (came free with the car) and discrete was the name of the game. Cable run hidden by plants and charger only visible when you walk round the brick pier.
