I normally install “My Energy Zappi” chargers, but the charger photographed here required a more bespoke installation because it was supplied by a client who took it with them when they moved house. In order to upgrade it and take advantage of recent advances in safety technology I installed it alongside the Matt:e PEN fault protection device, which is installed adjacent to the electric meter. The Mattt:e device also includes current limiting so it means any charger can be installed with a notification to the DNO (not a request).
